Faye Mosigin

MIDDLETON-Faye L. Mosigin, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. She was born on September 20, 1923, in Oxford, WI the daughter of Freeman and Octa Pike. After graduating from Oxford, she attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she met Samuel Mosigin. They were united in marriage on November 5, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1985. Faye had a variety of interests including golf, where she had a hole in one at Blackhawk, playing bridge, gardening and traveling. She also was an avid sports fan enjoying the Badgers, Brewers and the Packers. Faye is survived by her children, Linda (James) Rechtin, Marcia (Neal) Venden and Rob (Marilyn) Mosigin; six grandchildren, Marcy (Rob) Gretzlock, Andrew (Jennifer) Venden, Amy Venden, Jim Venden, Taryn Haag (Jesse German) and Jon (Jessica) Haag; seven great-grandchildren and a special niece and nephew, Paula and Jeffrey Pike. In addition to her husband, Faye was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Charles Pike and a sister-in-law, Rose Mosigian. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton at 11:30 AM on Saturday, November 14, 2009 with Chaplain Annette Cleary presiding. Burial will be in Middleton Junction Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
