Green Bay - Pearl Olsen (nee Shusman), age 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 10, 2009. Beloved wife of the late John. Dear mother of David (Diane) and Irene (Alban). Fond Nana of Jonathan (Ellen), Jeffrey and Timothy (Jennifer). Loving Great Nana of Ryan and Abigail. Pearl was born and raised in Manchester, England. She met and married John while he was stationed in England during World War II.. After the war, she returned to Madison with John where she lived most of her life. Funeral Services will be held at GRACE EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1 S. Rosa Road, Madison at 11:30 am on Wednesday October 14, 2009 with Rev. Theodore G. Gullixson presiding. Burial will be in Middleton Junction Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:30 am until the time of the service at the church on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, or to the Dane County Humane Society 5132 Voges Rd. Madison, WI 53718.
