Elliott, Marie Elizabeth MADISON-Marie Elizabeth Elliott, age 86, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at her home. She was born on March 17, 1923, in Roxbury, the daughter of Phillip and Anna Haas. Marie is survived by her children, Beverly Haas of Janesville, Caryl Hodgman (Pam Tinder) of Madison, and Gary (Sheree) Hodgman of Madison; grandchildren, Chad and Samantha Hodgman, Ashley Hodgman, Jessica Bartle, and Catherine and Emma Urbas; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Donald Hodgman in 1964 and William Elliott; twin brothers, Casper and Phillip Haas Jr.; brothers, Andrew, John and Tony Haas; sisters, Laura Grell, Florence Juris, Barbara Koch and Angelina Holler; and her beloved dog, Peppi. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
