Way, Jacquelynne MONONA/SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ.-Jacquelynne Way, age 75, passed away on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, in Scottsdale, Ariz. She was born Jacquelynne Hansen on Jan. 22, 1934, in Madison, the daughter of Walter and Peggy (Milke) Hansen. Jackie graduated from Madison West High School and started her business career with the State of Wisconsin. Jackie married Roy Way on Oct. 15, 1951 and remained faithfully by his side until her death. Jackie was a dedicated mother and wife, who constantly thought of others rather then herself. She was a wonderful cook, loved her family and friends, both in Wisconsin and Arizona, and enjoyed her casino outings. Surviving Jackie are her loving husband, Roy Way; dog, Suki; daughter, Diane Calkins; son, David (Sue) Way; daughter-in-law, Edite Way; grandchildren, Nicole, Josh, J. J., Danielle, Zach and Kati Way, and Cassie and Jason Calkins; a great-grandson, Dionte Way; sister, Patricia (Gregory) Chermak; brothers, Wolcott (Kim) Hansen and Thomas (Miki) Blankenheim; along with many special friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott; and brother, Joel. A celebration of Jackie's life will be held in Madison in 2010. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. A special thanks to all who have had Jackie in their thoughts and prayers over the last three years. I am sad to hear of Jackie's passing. I have great memories of the time I spent with the Way family in Monona as a child.Jackie was always so swwet and had a great sense of humor.Please know your family is in my prayers. Stephanie Engelhart
