Murphy, Kristine L.MADISON/SUN PRAIRIE - Kristine L. Murphy, age 61, of Sun Prairie, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009. She was born on Sept. 29, 1948, in Watertown, the daughter of Walter and Edna (Magritz) Retzlaff. Kristine spent her life caring for people as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She loved her grandchildren, watching QVC, and reading. Kristine is survived by her son, Shawn (Janice) Murphy of Marshall;grandchildren, Allison and Megan Murphy;sisters, Rosemary Vallee, Sandra Lewin, Bonnie Nelson, Debbie (Mike) Gramza, and Cheryl (Howard) Cuff;ex-husband, Tom Murphy;and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents;and sister, Carol Durfey. A memorial visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009.
