Obituary

Baldinus, Ruth M. MADISON-Ruth M. Baldinus, age 91, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009, at home. She was born on May 30, 1918, in Madison, the daughter of Herman and Emma (Gust) Stiegman. Ruth married Charles Baldinus on Oct. 5, 1940, in Madison. She enjoyed reading, embroidering, playing euchre, and was an avid Packers fan, going to games until recently. Ruth also enjoyed traveling with Richard, Lorraine, Harold and Julia. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Ruth is survived by her children, Ken (Shirley) Baldinus, and Elaine (Bryan) Brabender; grandchildren, Nicholas Baldinus, Amanda Baldinus, Ben Brabender, and Becka Brabender; sister-in-law, Mary Pauli; brother-in-law, Joe Baldinus; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles in 1983; and her brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2450 Atwood Ave., Madison, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, with Monsignor Michael Hippee presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Giesen for his care over the years, and also to the Blooming Grove EMT's for the care they gave Ruth, especially Corey Johnson. And now Ruth is looking forward to a long and awaited reunion with her loving husband, Charles.
