Edie, Jim, Andrea and Ben I'm sure you will miss your father/grandfather greatly. It was an honor to read his obituary and see the love and respect you all felt for him. It is apparent that he was a man of great character indeed.

Dear Odell family, I worked for the Archdiocese of MIlwaukke in the area of Social Justice from 1983 to 1999. I met and worked with Bob and Dorthy (and it was always Bob AND Dorthy) on many local and statewide issues. They were always consistent and persistent in that work, and always impressed on us that it was possible to influence events nationally and worldwide by our actions. I know you have experienced Bob and Dorthy in ways that I cannot touch, but I want to add my poor efforts to that experience. May God be as generous to you as he was in granting us the privilege of knowing your parents. Warren Braun

The quotation by Sri Chimnoy describes Bob perfectly. I knew Bob and his wife Dorothy for many years and never had cause to see any exception to that "good character." Also I always enjoyed Bob's sly sense of humor. My sympathy to all the family with apprectiation for being notified of his death. With Love, Eunice Wagner

To the Odell Family, Although we hadn't seen Bob in recent years, we always remember fondly our brief visits. We especially remember Bob's insistence on showing our children his model railroad set-up at Christmastime. Bob and Dorothy were wonderful people and I was happy to see Bob's character shine forth in the obituary. Our sympathies to all of you, but also our congratulations on knowing Bob and Dorothy your whole lives! My uncle Bob was quiet, reasonable and always encouraged me. Even when I was less receptive than I should have been. I always enjoyed visiting him and my aunt.
