Pearl Brown

Brown , Pearl R. MADISON/RICHLAND CENTER - Pearl R. Brown, age 101, of Richland Center, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009. She was born on Jan. 18, 1908 in Seneca, the daughter of Daniel M. and Ida M. (Chilson) Withee. Pearl attended Gays Mills High School. She was a homemaker and also worked at Grabers for over 20 years. Pearl was a member of Parkside Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed square dancing and gardening. Pearl is survived by her children, Roger Wahl of Richland Center; LaVern (Beverly) of Soldatna, Alaska; Daniel Wahl of Wasilla, Alaska; stepson, Charles (Margaret) Brown of Waukesha; grandchildren, Linda Amsler of Madison, David (Kim) Wahl of Wauwatosa, Tom (Gail) Wahl of Colorado Springs, Colo., Ray (Lisa) Wahl, of Spring Green, Colleen (Ray) Wahl-Johnson, of Arena, Kathy Wahl of Richland Center, Steven (Linda) Wahl of Tok, Alaska, Tim (Deanna) Wahl of Knoxville, Iowa, Becky Wahl of Knoxville, Iowa, Paul (Shawn) Brown of Milwaukee, and Steven (Julie) Brown of Milwaukee; 37 great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Brown; sons, Clyde George and Donald Wahl; sister, Edith (LaVern) Clark; and two brothers, Arthur and Otto (Edna) Withee. Funeral services will be held at PARKSIDE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 4002 Lien Rd., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, with the Rev. Calvin Harfst presiding. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. \r\n Cemetery: Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
