Couture, Beverly (Robinson)MADISON - Beverly (Robinson) Couture, age 85, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009 at HospiceCare. She was born on April 24, 1924, in Madison, the daughter of Arnold and Charlotte (Morrison) Rasmussen. Beverly was married to Thomas Robinson Sr. until 1966. In 1968 she married Leonard Couture and they were married until his death five years later. She enjoyed sports, reading, crossword puzzles, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Beverly is survived by her children, Tom "Robbie" (Linda) Robinson, Diana (Tim) Spaeni, Arnold (Shirley) Robinson, Don Robinson and Sean (Jenny Cox) Robinson;grandchildren, Tom (Mary) Robinson, Todd (Kim) Robinson, Tabatha (Gary Schreiber) Robinson, Dena (Chris Fjelstad) Beam, Angi (Jeff) Larson, Scott (Bonnie) Robinson, Jamie (Fred) Aiwohi, Becky (Matt) Robinson, Kelly (David) Galvin, Trevor (Nicole) Robinson, and Ashley and Taylor Robinson; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Donald (Marlene) Rasmussen and Robert Rasmussen; and nieces, Lynn, Marin and Cara. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Junior. A memorial visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009. Private inurnment will be held in Maple Hill Cemetery, Evansville on Saturday, September 12, 2009 for family members only.
