Olman, Gerald Elliott
MADISON/DEERFIELD-Gerald Elliott Olman, age 49, of Madison, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009. He was born on Sept. 25, 1959, in Boscobel, to Donald and Janet (Powell) Olman. Jerry is survived by his son, Jeremy Olman of Deerfield; his parents of Deerfield; two sisters, Teresa (Eric) Landmann, and Cheryl (Tim) Nelson; a brother, Ronald Olman; love of his life, Lisa Olman; two nieces; two nephews; three great-nieces; three great-nephews; and many other family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Olman; both paternal and maternal grandparents; and aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009 with Bishop Byron Marquez presiding.Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.

MANY GOOD TIMES COME TO MIND WHEN THINKING ABOUT WHO WE AFFECTIONATELY CALLED GEO WHEN PLAYING YAHTZEE ON OUR MANY CAMPING TRIPS TOGETHER. OLE LOST A GOOD FRIEND AND WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER BEING "OUT FISHED" ON THEIR FISHING ESCAPADES. EVEN IF ONLY IN THE RETELLING OF THE STORIES , DEPENDING ON WHO WAS TELLING THE STORY! IT DEEPLY SADDENS OUR HEARTS TO HAVE LOST ANOTHER FREIND SO EARLY IN LIFE. OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH HIS FAMILY.
