Annabeth Thompson

Annabeth Jane Thompson, age 88, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Skaalen in Stoughton. She was born on April 18, 1921 in Madison, the daughter of Asa and Mary (Traver) Odegaard. Jane graduated from West High School with the class of 1939. She was united in marriage to Theodore Thompson on August 2, 1950. Jane loved music and sold records at the Wolf Kubly store on the capital square and Victor Music on State Street . Jane and her husband Ted, lived in Florida for more than 20 years, before returning to Madison about 10 years ago. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ted Thompson brother, Linus (Hilda) Odegaard 2 sisters, Joyce Anderson and Barbara (Richard) Serres sister-in-law, Twila Odegaard, and by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, Wallace, Christopher, Wesley and Robert, and sister, Bonnie Bridge. Visitation: Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Service: A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Gunderson East Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Dr.
