Miller, Elaine B.BROOKLYN/OREGON-Elaine B. Miller, age 83, of Oregon, passed away after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer\'s and cancer on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Oregon Manor. She was born on Jan. 28, 1926, in Brooklyn, the daughter of Keith and Grace (Schulz) Weaver. Elaine is survived by her children, Stephen Miller of Cambridge, Bonnie (Jay) Gould of Madison, Jan Crusan of DeForest, Judy (Mike) Reamer of Stevens Point, Kimberley (Joe) Lambright of Owens, and Kristie (Bill Brennan) Miller of Tampa, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Phylis (John) Deegan of Stoughton; and brother, Rodney (Betty) Weaver of Brooklyn. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, LaVonne. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 431 Soden Drive, Oregon, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, with the Rev. Jason Hill presiding. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Brooklyn. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Bonnie, Jay, Lynn and Jamie-I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your Mom/Grandmother. I can only imagine how heavy all of your hearts are at this time. You are such a good daughter Bonnie. There is absolutely nothing more you could've done to show your Mom how much she was loved and you took great care of her. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
