Sauk, Mary Kay (Reed)
MADISON/CASSVILLE-Mary Kay (Reed) Sauk, age 63, died peacefully from ALS on Monday, July 27, 2009, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Mary Kay and her husband, David have enjoyed many visits, dinners, card games and celebrations in the Cassville area. She retired from American Family after 39 years. Mary Kay and Dave enjoyed traveling, camping, and playing cards with friends and family. It is with a profound sense of sadness that I learned of Mary Kay's passing. She was truly a lovely person, and her Uncle Dave and I always loved seeing her and Dave. She will be missed, and my love and prayers are with the rest of her family. My daughter, Marla, and son, Patrick, join with me in sending our deepest sympathy.

I met Mary Kay through my "500 Card Group". She not only became a member of our 8-person group but a wonderful and supportive friend. I will treasure the "Pink Cancer Cap" she got for me. I also enjoyed her e-mails telling of her travels with Dave. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. Love, Irene A. Leuenberger

Mary Kay and I decided upon meeting that we would be lifelong friends. And we were. Who would have thought it was going to be such a short time! We talked weekly if not more often. I was honored to be able to talk to Mary Kay the day before she passed away. We decided that we would never say "Goodbye", we would just say, "Until when... ". I do not know why God wanted her now, but a very special Lady is now with Him for eternity. May we all be so fortunate to be with Our Father in Heaven for the rest of eternity. Love you, Mary Kay.
