Douglas Rose

PhotoRose, Douglas J.MADISON - Douglas J. Rose, age 84, of Madison, went out with a bang, passing away on Saturday, July 4 2009, at Belmont Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born on May 23, 1925, in Michigan, the son of Jay and Ann (Ollenger) Rose. Douglas was a retired sheet metal worker. He enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycle and was an accomplished SCUBA diver. He had a love of guns and was a member of the NRA. Douglas is survived by his wife, Carol Rose;three stepchildren, Tracy DiPiazza, Kelly Brings and David Brings;seven grandchildren;and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas; daughter, Penelope;and his parents. Doug was a wonderful husband. No services will be held.
