Obituary
MADISON-Larry D. Caraway, age 19, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 27, 2009, as a result of an accident. He was born on July 4, 1989. Larry was a senior at Memorial High School. He had many passions including his love for singing and cooking. Larry is survived by his parents, Roger (Debra) Griffin, Diane Caraway and Larry D. Gillaum, Sr.; six brothers, Equan Caraway, Jaleel Stovall, Dante Caraway, Cedric Jasper, and Nazir and D. Terryous Griffin; a sister, Alize Lowe; maternal grandparents, Johnnie (Katherene) Carter; and a niece, Pria Arie Caraway. He is further survived by a host of cousins, maternal aunts and uncles, Johnnie, Steven, Darryl, Inezel, Marilynn Patterson, and Renee Savannah; and paternal aunts and uncles, James (Christine)Roberson, Renee, Chell and Vanessa Gillaum, and Robert Ousley. Larry was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rena Gillaum; two aunts, Mary Patterson and Kim Ousley and a cousin, Antwan Gillaum. Funeral Services will be held at the GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL HOME, 2950 Chapel Valley Road, Fitchburg at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 3, 2009 with Pastor Richard L. Jones presiding. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Monona. Family and friends may call on Friday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Larry was loved by all whom he touched and knew him. He will remain in our hearts forever.

Larry was a mellow and high-spirited young man with a great sense of humor and a warm and winning smile.
Kind-hearted, smart, friendly, open, and a hard worker, he will be missed as much for the love and friendship he offered as for the rich potential of the talents he was exploring.

I knew larry for ten years. Grew up with him and he could always make me laugh when I needed it. He was a great person. I am very sorry for this families lose. He will be missed.
