OREGON-Cindy A. Albrecht (Meyer) (Nicholson), age 52, of Oregon passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2009. She was born in Madison to Charles and Margaret (Hayne) Albrecht on July 17, 1956. After graduating high School in Monona WI she went on to get her Associates Degree in Printing. For many years she was involved in the family business and currently sat on the Board of Directors of DEC International. She married Richard \"Bim\" Meyer in 1980 and their children, Bryn and Charlie were the pride of her life. In 1986, Bim tragically passed away in a car accident. She married Steve Nicholson in 1991 and embraced Brandon Nicholson as her step-son. She was an incredibly caring and generous person. She loved hosting get-togethers for her family and many friends. She enjoyed spending time Up North with her family. Her artistic talents were displayed in her gifts created in doll class, embroidery club and quilting. She is survived by daughter, Bryn Marie Louise Meyer; son, Charles Albrecht Meyer; brothers, Randall Albrecht, Russ (Bethany) Albrecht, Robert (Tara) Albrecht and Rick Albrecht; sister, Connie (Stan) Albrecht; her Aunt Pat Burchard, several cousins, nieces and nephews; Ida Vi LaGosh who lovingly assumed the role of Mother/Grandmother along with many friends too numerous count. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bim Meyer. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, on Tues., July 21, 2009 at 12 p.m. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. We love you Momma.
