David Peterson

Peterson, David Allen WINDSOR-David Allen Peterson, age 50, of Windsor passed away from an ATV accident on July 1, 2009 in Black River Falls. He was born on Aug. 13, 1958 in Fall River, Mass., the son of Gordy and Alice (Norton) Peterson. He married Patricia Bollig on Jan. 2, 1988 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Middleton. He graduated from East High School in 1977. David worked 30 years at UPS. He loved his wife and his two boys. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling and downhill skiing and boating. He also was an avid Packer fan. David was known as "Packer Pete". He was known to all of his family and friends as "entertainer extroadinaire". No one could throw a party like "Packer Pete". David was a wonderful chef and greenskeeper and kept an immaculate yard. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Patty; sons, Daniel and Mathew; father, Gordy; sister, Sandra (Pat) Vosen; brother, Donald; parent-in-law, Leonard (Delores) Bollig; sister-in-laws, Bonnie (Geoff) Harrington, Barbara (Steve) Pitterle, Lorraine (Uncle Bill) Bollig; brother-in-law, Steven Bollig; sister-in-law, Beverly (Edward) Kekec and Debbie (David) Keller; as well as many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his mother, Alice. Memorial services will be held at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1904 Winnebago Street, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, with Reverend John Ruppenthal presiding. Memorial visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2009 and from 10 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday. Dave you made everything an adventure, thanks for showing us how to live everyday to the fullest.
