Ruth Morgan

MADISON/MIDDLETON-Ruth Morgan, age 95, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009. She was born on May 30, 1914, in Fond du Lac, WI, the daughter of Almont and Pearl (St Mary) Loucks. Ruth was a member of the Eastern Star in Madison and Middleton, as well as Asbury United Methodist Church in Middleton. Ruth, her husband Bud, their son Bob and daughter-in-law Pat owned and operated the Farm Kitchen in Baraboo for several years. She took great pride in her home, enjoyed being with friends and family, loved listening to music, and enjoyed working at Manchester\'s on the Square. Ruth loved playing bridge and spending time wt the Middleton Senior Center. Ruth is survived by her two daughters, Lois (Morgan) Potter of Janesville and Judy Morgan of Middleton, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews and friends. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Bud, son Robert, daughter-in-law Pat, son-in-law Jim Potter, both parents, two sisters, and three brothers. A celebration of Ruth's life will be held at the GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 3, 2009 with the Reverend TyLacey Sims Hines presiding. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home with a luncheon to follow. Ruth's family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Middleton Village, as well as HospiceCare, for their loving care and friendship they gave to Ruth.
