Shirley Stauber

Stauber, Shirley LeeSun Prairie - Shirley Lee Stauber, age 84, died on Saturday, June 13, 2009. She was born and raised in Chicago, where she attended Wright Community College and married Robert F. Stauber. Shirley and her family moved to Madison in 1963. She had a lifelong interest in art, philosophy and rock collecting. Shirley not only appreciated art, but had her own artistic talent as well. Survivors include her three children, Ronald L. (Patricia) Stauber of Albuquerque, NM, Sherri L. (Richard) Pride of Everett, WA, and Lois G. Stauber of Madison; four grandchildren, Jess and Dylan Pride and Zachary and Faye Stauber; and three great-grandchildren. A simple graveside ceremony will be held at SUNSET MEMORY GARDENS, 7302 Mineral Point Rd., Madison at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 18, 2009. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions in Shirley's name be given to HospiceCare Foundation (www.hospicecareinc.com) or to Inspiration Corporation of Chicago (www.inspirationcorp.org).
