Seth Cronson

Cronson, Seth SamuelMONONA-Seth Samuel Cronson, aka Seth Van Wie, 46, passed away unexpectedly after a long illness on Sunday, June 28, 2009. He was born on March 7, 1963, in Chicago, Ill., son of Robert G. Cronson and Terry Van Wie. Seth, a lifetime musician, co-developer at Willy St. Park, and chef, also enjoyed boating with his son Shane, writing poetry and landscaping. Seth is survived by his children, Sommer, Myriah, Shane and Arica; father, Robert G; siblings, Karen (Gary), Christopher, Keelyn and Morgan; and leaves behind many friends and fans. His mother, Terry, preceded him in death. Memorial services will be held at ST. STEPHEN\'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5700 Pheasant Hill Road, Monona, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2009, with the Rev. Nick Utphall officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be made to the family to provide for funeral costs.
