Idabelle Barber

STOUGHTON-Idabelle M. Barber, age 77, of Stoughton, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2009, at her home. She was born on June 28, 1931, in Stoughton, the daughter of Paul and Gladys (Moen) Barber. Idabelle was a member of First Lutheran Church in Stoughton. She lived her entire life on Lake Kegonsa, where she enjoyed gardening, flowers, and her cats and dogs. Idabelle is survived by her brother, Tom Barber of Stoughton; sister-in-law, Susan Barber of Stoughton; nephews, Brock, Dustin and Paul Barber; and a niece, Cindy Barber. She is also survived by Terryl Smith. Idabelle was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Paul Barber. Funeral services will be held at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 310 E. Washington St., Stoughton, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, with the Rev. Dick Halom presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, Highway 51 North at Jackson St., Stoughton, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, May 25, 2009. The family would like to thank all of her aides and friends for taking good care of her over the years, and also to Hospice for their care and compassion.
