Carl Koch

Koch, Carl D. MADISON - Carl D. Koch, age 74, died as he lived - surrounded by those who loved him, on Friday, May 15, 2009 at HospiceCare Inc. He was born on June 23, 1934, in Madison, the son of Englebert and Kathleen (Kelley) Koch. Carl married Mary Gallagher on May 29, 1954 in St. Patricks Catholic Church in Madison. He worked for MG&E for more than 4o years until his retirement. Carl was an avid golfer, enjoyed the outdoors, camping and boating. He was a member of St. Dennis Catholic Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Carl is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary; children, Julie Koch, Cindy Stoker, Tom Koch and Angie Underberg; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother, Ray Koch. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, May19, 2009, with Fr. Kent Schmitt presiding. A visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
