Gordon Friske

Friske, Gordon L. VERONA/MADISON-Gordon L. Friske, age 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2009. He was the middle child of seven, born to the late Rudolf Friske and Esther Zinke-Friske. During Gordons long and fulfilling life, he worked at Oscar Mayer for more than 30 years. He loved fishing and hunting. Gordon is survived by his five children, Diane Fischer of Parker, Colo., Karen Friske of Cape Coral, Fla., Larry Friske of Blue Mounds, Dennis Friske of Mount Horeb, and Danny Friske of Portage; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2009, with the Rev. Mary Pharmer presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment to follow at Glendale Cemetery, Kendall.
