Shirley Erfurth

We know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. Shirley will continue to participate in every act, thought and decision you make. Her love leaves an indelible imprint in your memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having known Shirley Erfurth.

Shirley and I meet at Pine Lake Camp as campers. We became friends through letters and once I visited and had a wondeful time staying a week-end at her home with her family and amazing music. Shirley was such a warm and carrying person who will always have a special place in my heart. On Aug. 5, 1972 she played at my wedding. I have always loved the Christmas cards we shared between the two of us for all these years. Promising that one of these days we would get together for coffee. I wish all of you the best as she will truely be missed by all those whose hearts she touched. She is one of my favorite people and I will miss hearing about her family at Christmas each year.

I'll never forget Mrs. Erfurth as my music teacher in elementary school, which was over 30 years ago. She was always so patient and kind to all her students. She'll be missed.
