Nathalie Carden

Carden, Nathalie M. POYNETTE/EAU CLAIRE-Nathalie M. Carden, age 86, of Eau Claire, formerly of Poynette, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Eau Claire Care Center. She was born on April 30, 1922, in Madison, the daughter of Arthur and Mabel (Horton) Morse. Nathalie married John E. Carden on June 29, 1941. She worked for Wisconsin Bell as a network administrator for 25 years. Nathalie was a member of the Elks Club, Model "A" Club, and Telephone Pioneers of America. She volunteered for the March of Dimes, Walk America, VA Hospital, and Meriter Hospital. Nathalie is survived by a daughter, Jeanne Mueller of Eau Claire; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, John; parents; son, John; brother, Llewellyn; and sisters, Bernice and Geraldine. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2009, with the Rev. Sandra Gaylord presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
