Ada Royce

MONONA-Ada P. Royce, age 95, formerly of Monona, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2009, at Skaalen Home in Stoughton. She was born on May 3, 1913, in Germany. Ada cherished her time working at the Hoffman House restaurant for more than 25 years. She is survived by her daughter, Jackie (Jon) Walterscheit of Marshall; son, Bob (Terra) Royce of Janesville; four grandchildren, Jon (Jennifer) Walterscheit, Scott (Jenni) Royce, Amy (Derrick) Bilz, and Lori (Todd) King; and nine great-grandchildren. Ada was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 1991. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2009. Visitation will be at the funeral home, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Private entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dane County Humane Society. A special thank you to the staff at Skaalen Home for their care and compassion.
