Obituary
Velma L. Loger, age 76, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 27, 2009, at Ingleside Nursing Home in Mount Horeb. She was born on Nov. 8, 1932, in Oakdale, WI, the daughter of Otto and Sarah (Baldwin) Dupee. Velma graduated from Tomah High School in 1950. Velma was married to Harvey Loger on Feb. 28, 1952 in Tomah. She was employed at Central Colony for 27 years. Velma was a big fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. Her greatest blessing was the love of her children and being around her family. She was always " ready for anything." Velma is survived by her children: Sara (Randy) Schoenemann, Roger (Roxanne) Loger, Rodney (Susie) Loger, Ric (Sandy) Loger, Robin (Rhonda) Loger, Ryan (Julie) Loger, Rex (Chris) Loger, Susan (Jeff) Steinhauer; grandchildren: Melissa (David) Walden, Jesse (Melanie) Schoehemann, Jason Schoenemann, Heather (Fran) Myhre, Emily (Troy) Schroeder, Michael (Anna) Loger, Tiffany (Matt) Forseth, Justin Loger and Stef Antony, Megan Loger, Lindsay Loger and Aaron Olson, Jonathan Loger and Heather Wendt, MacKensey Loger, Kyle Loger, Zach Loger, Nicolas (Kate) Loger, Ross Loger, Chelsey Steinhauer and Ryan Steinhauer; great-grandchildren: Bailey and Gabe Walden, Grace, Styrk, Liv Myhre, Tommy Schroeder, Colin Loger, Jackson Loger, and also 2 more great-grandchildren on the way that she was looking forward to!; her siblings, a sister, Vivian Fisher, brother, Doug (Ellen) Dupee, cousin, Liz (Ed) Brown, a sister-in-law, Barb Dupee; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Will Dupee, Don Dupee, Otis Dupee, a brother-in-law, Elmer Fisher; and 2 special nieces Kim and Kory. A Memorial Service will be held at MIDLAND UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 10235 Hwy KP, Mazomanie, on Thursday, April 2, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dianne Vielhuber presiding. A visitation will be held at the church on Wed., April 1, from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to HospiceCare Inc., 5395 East Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711 or to Midland United Methodist Church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to HospiceCare and Ingleside Nursing Home who gave such great care to our mother.
