Young, Samantha Jean SUN PRAIRIE/MADISON-Samantha Jean Young, age 24, died unexpectedly following an automobile accident, on Tuesday, April 14, 2009. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2009. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2009. A complete obituary will appear in the Friday paper. Samantha, I never knew you in life, but I was the first to discover you lying there. I tried to help, but you were already gone. I talked to you until the paramedics arrived. You did not respond. So still...so helpless. I am sure you had no idea that day would be your last. I sincerely hope you knew Christ and are rejoicing with Him in heaven even now.

Samantha, when we first met over 10 years ago I never imagined how much your friendship would mean to me. I felt like you were almost a sister to me. We helped each other through so many rough times and managed to keep in touch with each other. I just wish we could have spent more time with each other towards the end here. I remember talking once about how our kids would be best friends too when we got older. I'll miss you, I hope you are happy and safe. Rest in peace. I love you girl!

Sam you were a fantastic person and mother to your 2 daughters. You had a great attitude which was always accompanied by your gorgeous smile. We are going to miss you deeply but you will live in in everyone's hearts forever. Peace be with you.

Samantha, I only knew you before you moved on to motherhood. You were a wonderful friend with my daughter. You were such a pleasure to have around. I wish we had spent more time together, and I wish I could have seen you with your own young family. I believe that you are in Heaven, watching over your beautiful daughters.
