Petersen, Elaine A. MONONA-Elaine A. Petersen, age 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2009, at Karmenta Care Center. She was born on Dec. 30, 1921, in Jefferson, to Leo and Esther (Suchomil) Menzel. Elaine is survived by her five children, Richard of Fitchburg, Lana Chetwood of Lone Rock, Debra (Harry) Briggs of Monona, Gary (Christine) of Madison, and Jeffrey (Mary) of Waukesha; ten grandchildren, Shawn, Heather, Mike, Dan, Shane, Brandon, Sarah, Amy, Steve, and Kyle; and five great-grandchildren.
