Lillian Regenberg

BLACK EARTH/CROSS PLAINS-Lillian M. Larsen Regenberg was born in Chicago in 1903 and enjoyed over a century of change from her first automobile sighting to traveling around the world many times. She loved laughter, looking lovely and her home and family. She passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday evening, just two months short of her 106th birthday. Lillian was preceded in death by her husbands, John C. Larsen and Carl Regenberg. She is survived by her loving son, John Allen Larsen and his wife Karen of St. Paul, MN.; her two grandchildren, Kristen Larsen Rose and her husband Stephen Rose of St. Paul, MN., John Erik Larsen and partner Mike Stewart of Minneapolis, MN; great-grandchildren Calvin, Sophia and Andrew Rose; and six stepchildren, Robert and Celeste Regenberg of Madison , Kurt and Carolyn Regenberg of Nashville, TN, and Dave and Fritzie Regenberg Satterley of Boulder, CO. Funeral services will be held at the GUNDERSON CROSS PLAINS FUNERAL HOME, 2421 Church Street, Cross Plains at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 6, 2009. Burial will be in Valley Home Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to the Cross Plains Public Library.
