Marvin you will be missed more than you know. I have enjoyed working with you and always was delighted to see you show up. Your witty emails always brightened up a dull job! I thank you for that, and for the many laughs we had together about numerous things. I know you are now in a better place!

Even though I've been retired for 5 yrs., I still considered you a friend. The 'good guys' shouldn't leave us so early.

I have known Marvin since 1966. Our life paths have come together and moved apart many times over the years. Over those years I have always envied Marvin€„¢s ability to deal with life on his terms; not always making him popular but giving him a solid center. You always knew how Marvin felt about things, a rare trait in today€„¢s world. I will miss Marvin and his candor. No, let me just say I will miss Marvin.

Marvin was one of my best friends for 40 yrs. We spoke often, almost every Sat. Most of the time we talked about old friends and past escapades. The last time was Wed.night. Marvin talked about being the 1st one of us to find out if there was anything after life.I told him it'd be great if he could find a way to let us know. But being Marvin ... I imagine he'll keep it a secret. It will seem strange not to hear from him on Sat mornings. I'm going to miss him a great deal.

Marvin did a wonderful job of looking out for our interests in Federal Prison Industries during his career with the DOD. Beyond his business smarts though, he was a terrific person to converse with about all things, particularly gardening and horticulture! My home garden has perennials that Marvin gave to me during the many years I have known him. I will constantly be reminded of him as I tend my garden, something I believe he would appreciate very much! He will be much missed!
