Timothy Pomeroy

Pomeroy, Timothy A. "Tim" MADISON-Timothy A. "Tim" Pomeroy, age 42, passed away on Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, at Meriter Hospital. He was born on Feb. 4, 1967, in Madison, the son of Lowell and Victoria (Bagin) Pomeroy. Tim married Alice Lyman. He worked his way up to psychiatric care supervisor at Mendota Mental Health Institute, where he worked for many years. Tim was a loving and devoted father and husband. He is survived by his wife, Alice; two children, Caetano Araujo and Elias Lyman; sister, Justine (Christopher) Pomeroy Prietto; brother, Jason (Marcie) Pomeroy; many friends; and his co-workers at MMHI. Tim was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Service will be held at ST.DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, on Friday, Feb. 20, 2009, at 10 a.m., with Father Lance Schneider presiding. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gildas Club Madison, 7909 UW Health Court, Middleton, WI 53562. Tim, Your humor and genuine regard for others will be missed. We will emulate the dedication to your family, and work. You are a strong and honest father, husband, and friend. Thank you. We love you!
