Richard Schnurbusch

Schnurbusch, Richard A. MADISON-Richard A. Schnurbusch, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 23, 2009, after a long illness. He was born on March 1, 1940, in Madison, the son of Albert and Alverna (Grinde) Schnurbusch. Richard graduated from Madison East High School in 1959. He worked for Marshall Erdman & Associates for 35 years, and prior to that for J. H. Findorff & Sons. Richard enjoyed bowling and woodworking for many years. He also enjoyed the Packers and baseball. In the past few years, Richard enjoyed eating at Dairyland Restaurant, making friends there and scratching off lottery tickets, waiting to hit the "big one." He is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons, Steve (Lora) Schnurbusch and Randy (Jessie) Schnurbusch; and grandchildren, Steven and Rachel. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; and aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2009, with Father Kent Schmitt presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Richards family would like to thank the staff at St. Marys Hospital, who fought so hard to save him.
