Haefner, Doris MADISON-Doris (Butler) Haefner, age 88, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Feb. 2, 2009. She is survived by her children, Kathleen of Phoenix, Ariz., William (Judi), and Darling (Wayne); grandchildren, William, Debra, Paula, Christine, Kim, Michael, Brian, Carrie, Robert, Kandice and Jenny; 18 great-grandchildren; and brothers, William, Edward and Harry. Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ott; and sons, Ott R. and Robert. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, 2009. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.

My heart goes out to the family of my Aunt Sis at this time. I will miss her laugh that I have heard so many times over these past years.

You will live in my heart forever. No one could ever a better Mother, wife grandma, g-grandma, sister aunt or friend. I will treasure that the rest of my life. I thank you for everything you did to shape my life. You will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved you. I will miss our weekly chats, but I can still talk to you nightly.
