Mickelson, Timothy Scott "Snapper" MADISON - Timothy Scott "Snapper" Mickelson, age 43, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 9, 2009. He was born on Aug. 21, 1965, in Madison, the son of Richard and Julie (Rasmussen) Mickelson. Timothy graduated from LaFollette High School, then went to trucking school. He worked for Frito Lay driving semi for 20 years and received the One Million Miles Safe Driving Award, which he was very proud of. He married Debra Betts on June 25, 1994, in Madison at St. Stephens Lutheran Church. Timothy enjoyed fast motorcycles, musky fishing in Mercer, and Packers football. He also loved his children very much and was a good family man. Timothy is survived by his wife, Debra; two children, Hunter and Hayden; father, Richard Mickelson; sister, Terri; and brothers, Jim (Michelle), Steve (Nancy) and Michael. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julie Mickelson; sister Deborah; and grandparents. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME,5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2009, with the Rev. Timothy Hansen officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
