Obituary

ISABELLA, MO./OREGON-Perry Dean Noyce, age 62, died unexpectedly on Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at his home. He was born on Sept. 12, 1946, in Stoughton. Perry attended Oregon schools, and joined the U. S. Navy in 1963, where he was a petty officer until 1974. He married Sue Ace in 1971 and had two children. Perry worked as a boiler operator at Madison Gas and Electric, was a postal carrier in Oregon, and a correctional sergeant at Oak Hill Correctional Institution in Oregon. He transferred to Black River Falls Correctional Institution, where he retired. Perry moved to Isabella, Mo. and resided near his brother, Rod (Angie) until he passed away. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Perry is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Tim) Martinez; son, Joseph Noyce; four grandchildren, Justin Traino, and Heather, Devin and Alyssa Martinez; his mother, Ruby Roeben; brothers, Rod (Angie), Steve (Tami), and Kevin (April); two sisters, Gloria Noyce and Brenda (Steve) Kaiser; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold; a brother, John; step father, Marty Roeben; a nephew, Edward; great-nephew, Eddie; and great-niece, Hailey. Services will be held in remembrance at PEOPLES UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 103 Alpine Parkway, Oregon, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, with the Rev. Jon Claude Bartlett presiding and with military rites conducted. Private burial will be at Prairie Mound Cemetery.
