Photo Fraboni, Gloria Viola STOUGHTON/MONONA-Gloria Viola Fraboni, age 82, of Stoughton, formerly of Monona, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, at Stoughton Hospital. She was born on Feb. 7, 1926, in Proctor, Minn. and raised in Cotton, Minn., the daughter of Waldemar and Florence Soderlund. Gloria married Angelo Fraboni, from Hibbing, Minn., on Nov. 1, 1947. They raised seven children, and together owned and operated the Colonial Inn Restaurant and Frabonis Italian Specialties. Gloria was a gifted seamstress, an avid reader, and liked her garden. She always enjoyed the outdoors and revisiting her family homestead in Cotton, Minn. Gloria is survived by six children, Michael (partner, Pam Rebitzke) of McFarland, Daria (Jerry) Stephan of Howell, Mich., Rosanne of McFarland, Steven of Monona, Garry (Barbara) of McFarland, and Dante of Tucson, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, Bennett, Gaelan, Torina, Brady, Cory, Andrew and Michael; and her brother, Donald of Cotton, Minn.; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Jeannie; two brothers, David and George; and a sister, Joan Hill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ANN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 323 N. Van Buren St., Stoughton, at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, with Monsignor Gerard Healy presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., with a Scripture prayer at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, and at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
