Della Denzer

Denzer, Della Marie MADISON-Della Marie Denzer, age 89, of Madison, passed away on Jan. 1, 2009 at St. Marys Hospital. She was born on Oct. 5, 1919 in the Township of Troy, Wisc., the daughter of Velma LaBounty & Virgil Strait. Della married Merlin Denzer on Mar. 29, 1939 in Honey Creek, Wisc. She is survived by her daughters, Sharlene Palmer of Bowie, Md., Carol Sutton of Madison; daughter-in-law, Vicky Denzer of Madison; 7 grandchildren, Bonnita, Gerald, Scott, Kim, Todd, Kimay and William; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. Della was preceded in death by her husband, Merlin; son, Fay Denzer; son-in-law, Ira Palmer. Private funeral services will be held for Della and burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens at a later date. A public visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009.
