Eric Shade

Photo Sun Prairie/Madison - Eric Shade, age 35, accidentally died on Sunday, January 11, 2009. He was born on August 29,1973, the son of Al and Maxine (Colson) Shade. He graduated from LaFollette High School with the class of 1991. He worked for Boumatic Dairy Equipment, then moved to Houston, Texas. After returning to Madison he worked for Stevens Construction. Eric enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest by spending time outdoors, fishing and working out. He loved time spent with his family and friends, and also loved his Chevy truck. He is survived by his mother, Maxine Shade of Monona; sister, Shannan Shade (Andrew Kirch) of Marshall; paternal grandmother, Genevieve Shade of Madison and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Al Shade; paternal grandfather, Albert Shade and maternal grandparents, Lyle and Betty Colson. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr. on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
