Obituary

FREUDENTHAL CLARA , M. MIDDLETON-Clara Marie Freudenthal, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2008. She was born on May 11, 1911, in Medford, the daughter of Joseph and Bertha (Kress) Strobach.. Clara was united in marriage to Henry Freudenthal on September 5, 1938. He preceded her in death on January 15, 1992. She was an avid seamstress and loved quilting. Clara was a longtime member of St. Bernards Catholic Church, the Living Rosary and its 5-0 Club. She is survived by her children, Nancy (Hubert) Schwartz of Middleton, Helen (Stan) Endres, of Lodi and Joyce (Richard) Skinner of Fort Atkinson; eight grandchildren, Tim (Dyanne) Schwartz, Lori (James) Haag, Michael Schwartz, Lynette (Tony) Ricker, Lisa (Jay) Wendorff, Ryan (Mindi) Endres, Douglas (Eve) Skinner and Brian Skinner; six great-grandchildren, Christopher and Matthew Haag, Justin and Alex Schwartz and Maranda and Trent Ricker; and a brother, Edward Strobach, of Medford. In addition to her husband, Clara was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Mary Freudenthal; two brothers, Lawrence and Henry Strobach and a great-granddaughter, Heather Schwartz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARDS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Madison. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Middleton Outreach Ministry (MOMs), 7432 Hubbard Ave., Middeton or to St. Bernards Catholic Church.
