Janet Babcock

Babcock, Janet F. FORT MYERS, FLA./MONONA-Janet F. Babcock, age 76, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Monona, passed away at home on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009. Janet was born on Aug. 26, 1932, in Centerville, Iowa, to Elmer "Cy" and Leila Fletcher. She is survived by five daughters, Jody Vanden Heuvel, Jeanne Mitchell, Karen Beer, Julie Camper and Jackie Babcock; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by her loving husband, James C. Babcock. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Monday, Jan. 12, 2009. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009.
