Mary Dollars

Dollars, Mary E. MADISON/STOUGHTON-Mary E. Dollars, age 83, entered the loving arms of her Lord on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, at St. Marys Hospital in Madison. She was born on Oct. 5, 1925, in Battle Creek, Mich., the daughter of Earl and Dorothy White. Mary married Huberr A. Dollars on March 4, 1944, in Madison. She was a charter member of Lakeview Moravian Community Church. Mary enjoyed her outings with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also had a great love for homemaking, shopping and dancing. Mary is survived by her son, Harvey Dollars of West Chicago, Ill.; daughters, Amy (Richard) Amble of Green Bay and Arla Dollars of Stoughton; grandchildren, Julie (Jim) Mangum, Krisann Lyford, Ty (Sandy) Amble, Tonya (Mike) Felhofer, and Huberr, Hannah and Hayley Hansen; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Jane White; and sisters-in-law, Kathryn Dollars, Lela Groomer, and Ada White. She was preceded in death by her husband, Huberr; brothers, Merton and Charles White; daughter-in-law, Kenlynn Dollars; and great-grandson, Nicholas Donovan. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, with the Rev. Mary Lou Plummer presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeview Moravian Community Church, 3565 Tulane Ave., Madison, WI 53714.
