Lauren Larson

I met Lauren shortly after settling into my dorm room at Edgewood Collge. Lauren lived a few doors down from me and across the hall. I remember her as always being happy with a great sense of humor. Lauren & I often sat in each others dorm rooms and just talked about our lives, who are boyfriends were, how classes were going, etc. I remember Lauren with a Shakespeare's works text book. When I asked her how she could read and understand Shakespeare she educated me about his works. (Lauren was much smarter and better educated than myself). I saw Lauren infrequently after we graduated as my husband, Steve and I moved out of state. I did see her once at West Towne Mall at Christmas time. (She looked beautiful!) We exchanged numbers and we spoke to one another two more times by phone. The last time we spoke she had just given birth to Christi and was so happy to be a Mom. I remember hanging up the phone and thinking how happy I was for Lauren that she seemed so completely happy. It is with great sorrow that I read Lauren's obituary today.
