Esther Wilson

WILSON ESTHER B. MADISON-Esther B. Wilson, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Brookdale Wynwood of Madison. She was born on November 30, 1915, in Rocky Ford, Colorado, the daughter of August and Emma (Hitzke) Beyer. Esther was united in marriage to John Wilson in 1939. She grew up in Manhatten, Kansas and moved to Milwaukee after high school to attend Beauticians school earning her degree. It was in Milwaukee where she met her husband John, and resided in Brookfield for many years. Her hobbies included reading, gardening and watching her Packers and Badgers on television. Esther is survived by her sons, David (Colleen) Wilson of Lodi and Brian Wilson of Wonder Lake, IL.; five grandchildren, Jon Wilson, Alan (Stephanie) Wilson, Brian Wilson, Molly Wilson and Brian (Heather) Van Kleeck; a great-grandchild, Kate Wilson; three sisters, Dorothy Case of Bartonville, IL., Ruth Morford of Redding, CA., and Mildred Wittwer of Sun Lakes, AZ. and a brother, Walter (Bea) Beyer of Mesa, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Emma Beyer, father and mother-in law, George and Alma Wilson; a brother, Carl Beyer and her beloved husband, John. Private family services will be held. In lieu of memorials, Esthers wish would be for all to enjoy the power of love with those they treasure.
