Harriet Freye

MADISON-Harriet Freye, age 96, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at St. Marys Care Center in Madison. She was born on March 18, 1912, in Indiana, the daughter of D.A. and Josephine (Camden) Tague. Harriet worked as an administrative assistant for the Department of Public Instruction for over 30 years. She is survived by her daughters, Patsy (Kenneth) Carlson, of Baraboo, Phyllis Francis, of Madison; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Frank Snyder and Oscar Freye; a brother, Harlan Tague and four sisters, Olive Tague, Peggy Tilton, Ruth Churchill and Irene Vaughn. Family and friends may call from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at the GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, followed by a private family service. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Oshkosh at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Marys Care Center, 3401 Maple Grove Drive, Madison, WI 53719.
