Obituary
LaSavage, Frederick L. MADISON-Frederick Lee "Fred" LaSavage, age 47, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008. He was born on Oct. 13, 1961, in Wausau, to Paul and Barbara (Verhein) LaSavage. Fred graduated from Madison West High School and attended Madison Area Technical College. He worked at Electric Motors Unlimited for the past 29 years. Fred was an avid Packers fan. He is survived by his fiancee, Shannon Boettcher of Madison; three brothers, Daniel LaSavage, Paul (Edith) LaSavage and Richard LeSavage, all of Madison; a sister, Dana LaSavage of Portage; three nieces; and three nephews. Fred was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.

I've only know Fred and Shannon for a short time, but they're the sort of people that grow on you very quickly. Our time together in deep discussions at Badger Bowl have been so much fun. It will be sad not having Fred there to voice his strong opinion. You will not be forgotten Fred.
