James Kennelly

Kennelly, James J. Middletonâ?¬??James J. Kennelly, age 78, passed away on November 6th, 2008 at Clare Bridge in Middleton, Wisconsin. He was born on Aug. 8th, 1930 in New York City to James and Adele (Otto) Kennelly. In November of 1952 he married Gloria Podsiadlo in Farmingdale, Long Island. They and their children later moved to Wisconsin where James worked for the Federal Government as the Assistant Director at The National Wildlife Health Laboratory in Madison. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Madison. James was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Gloria, and four children: Karen (Steve) Helgesen of Tennessee, Mary Kennelly of Middleton, WI, Barbara (Raul) Batschauer of Brazil and James (Jeri) Kennelly of Rhode Island. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great grandson and numerous relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 602 Everglade Drive, Madison, on Tues. Nov. 11th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor Donald J. Heiar presiding. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Madison. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association. The family would like to extend special thanks to Hospice Care, Inc. and to Clare Bridge for all their loving care.
