Louis Brings

PHOTO BRINGS, LOUIS R. WAUNAKEE-Louis R. Brings, age 83, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2008. He was born on May 24, 1925, the son of Louis and Elizabeth (Bollig) Brings. Louis was united in marriage to Loretta Bernards on October 9, 1954, in St. Peters Catholic Church of Ashton. He was employed with Graber Industries as a forklift operator for over 35 years, retiring in 1991. Louis was an avid sportsman with a variety of interests including hunting, fishing, golf and playing cards. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Loretta; a daughter, Donna Wiersma, of De Forest and three sisters, Betty Schulenberg, Catherine Miller and Cecilia Yelk. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. PETERS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7121 County Trunk K, Middleton at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 7, 2008 with Father Thomas Kelley presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family and friends may call from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton.
