Judy Levake

Levake, Judy A. MADISON/ ADAMS Judy A. Levake, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008. She was born on Feb. 15, 1944, in Melvina, the daughter of Lawrence and Marie (Anthony) Hauser. Judy married Kenneth "Zeke" Levake on June 8, 1968. She loved spending time at her home and with her family. Judy enjoyed baking and working in her garden. She was a caregiver for many, always caring for others before herself. Judy is survived by her husband, Ken "Zeke"; two children, Kim (Richard) Cooks of Des Moines, Iowa and K. J. (Kylie) Levake of Racine; a granddaughter, Rebecca Cooks; two sisters, Janet Rademacher of West Salem, and Bonnie (Al) Mlsna of Sparta; three sisters-in-law, Marylee (James ) Brimmer of Madison, Sharon (Ronald) Schade of Madison, and Char (Cliff) Romfoe of Holcombe; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ron; and brother-in-law, Charles Rademacher. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at HOLY MOTHER OF CONSOLATION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 651 N. Main St., Oregon, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, with Father Bill Connell presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Blooming Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to U.W. Paul P. Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center or HospiceCare Foundation.
