Kevin Peyton

MIDDLETON - Kevin Peyton, age 14, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, October 18, 2008. He was born on April 13, 1994 in Vail, Colorado, the son of Steven and Karen Peyton. Kevin attended Glacier Creek Middle School, currently in the 8th grade where he was on track to earn Honors Recognition. He had a variety of interests including music, participating on the schools cross country team, and playing the drums. Kevin was an avid sports fan especially enjoying the Packers and Iowa Hawkeyes. In addition to his parents, Steve and Karen, Kevin is survived by his sister Megan, age 11; a brother, Ryan, age 9; his paternal grandmother, Kathryn Peyton of Waunakee; maternal grandparents, Claire and Liberatto Sacchetti of Illinois and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lloyd Peyton in 2007. Funeral services will be held at ASBURY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 6101 University Ave., Madison at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 23, 2008 with the Reverend Harold Zimmick presiding. Burial will be in Middleton Junction Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at the GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave. Middleton and also on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested for the Kevin Peyton Memorial Fund, in care of Park Bank 2275 Deming Way, Middleton or mailed to Park Bank, P.O. Box 8969 Madison, WI 53708-8969.
